Just A Little Peace & Quiet

We all look forward to that time of day where we can sit in total peace and quiet. After a day of getting the children up for school, cleaning the house, doing errands and everything else on our to - do-list.
My day consists of sometimes arguing with my teen about going to school because she doesn't want to go due to lack of sleep or her anxiety is flaring up. My son gives me a run for my money because he'd rather just stay unclothed all day and doesn't want to get dressed because he's too busy doing his own thing.
When the day is over after hearing the same song over and over on youtube and being asked a thousand times what's dinner and getting the children things ready for tomorrow you just want to sit in silence for a while. It's so important as mothers to take care of ourselves also. We can quickly get burnt out due to our women duties each day. We have to make sure we at least take time out to enjoy a coffee, read our favorite devotional along with prayer or a nice walk/drive somewhere. If we are not well rested then how can we fulfill our daily duties as a mother, business woman and wife.
The bible says in Genesis 2:2-3 "And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation."
So remember to take time out each day to just rest in silence. Restore your energy so you will be able to finish out the day in peace.
